Welcome to the New Mises Blog!

new

Well, it’s a new look

The new blog features all the same authors as the old blog, known as “The Circle Bastiat” and the “Mises Economics Blog.”

But now the blog site is fully integrated into Mises.org and it’s easier to make comments. The com box appears below every post.

You may find traffic slow for a few days as the authors get used to using the new platform, but no changes have been make to the masthead. We’re also working out a few details to make sure you can find other blog posts from authors, and find the old blog posts you want.

Feel free to send me your suggestions or let me know of any problems you notice at rwmcmaken@mises.org.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
