Colombatto on Globalism

Colombatto on Globalism

Professor Enrico Colombatto is the author of a brilliant pamphlet, L’immoralità no global, published in Italian by Rubbettino and recently translated in to  English by the Centre for the New Europe, the Brussels-based free-market think-tank. Colombatto defines his own work as “an attempt to force lukewarm globalizers to realize that freedom and human dignity are not subjects for compromises.” Colombatto teaches economic policy at the University of Turin, and he is also the director of the International Center for Economic Research. Austrians and libertarians should read this impressive paper, which is a major debunking on anti-globalist non sense.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
